At 7.30pm on Friday 27 th April 2007 the new SRGUG facilities opened.

The past week has seen a concerted effort by Bert Higgs and his men, several SRGUG Committee members and other members of the User Clubs to ensure that the new facilities open on time.

Below are photos from the historic day including Bert Higgs pulling the first official pint.

All three User Clubs play at home to celebrate first use of the new facilities,

SLHCC, SLHRFC and USBC join together for a photograph to celebrate their new facilities.

The first run is registered on the new cricket scoreboard.

Much work is still required to finish the new facility before the official opening on Sunday 20 th May. The Clubhouse will therefore be closed during the week except for official meetings and reopen on Friday for the weekend.
